Update: Nov 25, 2009
The tourist company Vietravel Hanoi has launched two tours of Laos and Thailand for Vietnamese football supporters going to the 25th SEA Games, being held in Laos next month.

Both tours will depart from Hanoi on December 14. The tour by plane will last for five days, leaving Hanoi for Vientiane, then on to Udon Thani and finally back to Hanoi, while the bus tour will take six days and use the route Hanoi-Vinh-Vientiane-Udon Thani-Vientiane-Hanoi.

Tickets for the men’s football semi-finals and final will also be provided. Apart from cheering on the national team, the travelling supporters will be able to visit places of interest in Laos such as the ancient Sisaket Pagoda, the pagodas at That Luang and Phra Keo and the Buddhist garden in Xieng Khouang.

In Thailand’s Udon Thani province, the visitors can also take a tour of Salakeoku park.
