9 DAYS EXPRESS VIETNAM TOUR - NORTH TO SOUTH

This tour covers many of the main sites in the northern, central and southern regions of Vietnam in only 9 days. From Hanoi and Halong Bay in the north, Hue, Hoi An and Danang in the center and Saigon in the south, you will see and experience much of the beauty, culture and even some soft adventures. DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1:  Hanoi Arrival 
When you arrive in Hanoi, your guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel in the Old Quarter. When you are ready you will take an Old Quarter rickshaw tour and take a wald to explore the Old Quarter. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour ( B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda. Continue on to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Ethnology, Hoan Kiem lake, Ngoc Son temple and enjoy the water puppet show. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.  Pick up by mini-van at the hotel and begin our journey to Halong city. After 3.5 hours driving and viewing simple, countryside, rice paddy life, we arrive at the at port. Board your private boat, an authentic Junk, and start your amazing cruise through this World Heritage Site. Lunch is served on board, a selection of the freshest seafood. We visit "the amazing cave", followed by a swim in the tranquility of Halong Bay and its emerald water. We will cruise further into a quiet area where we will anchor and stay overnight. Dinner and relax as the sun sets. Then you are free to swim in the phosphorous water, retire to your cabin, or fall asleep under the stars amidst the magic of Halong on the top deck.

Day 4:  Halong Bay - Hanoi - Hue (Brunch) 
Wake up early in the morning for a great sunrise and a breath of fresh ocean air. Breakfast is served on boat then we do a leisurely cruise through thousands of seemingly never ending islands. These are great opportunities to capture some amazing photographs. We stop to visit a floating fishing village and listen to some legendary stories of the fisherman's daily life. Take one last swim somewhere in the middle of the bay to refresh before cruising back to the Halong city pier. By noon we be ashore and break for lunch at a local restaurant. Then we hit the road back to Hanoi. Then we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Hue, where you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Hue.

Day 5: Hue - Sightseeing Tour (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Today, we visit The garden city of Hue recognized by UNESCO as World's Culture Heritage. The city used to served as Vietnam's capital during 1802 to 1945. Visit to the Imperial Citadel and the typical Mausoleum of Tu Duc King. 
Afternoon: Boat cruise along the Perfume River to visit the Tomb of Minh Mang King with stop over to visit Thien Mu pagoda on the way. When boat return, you may have chance to admire the sunset on the river. Overnight at the hotel in Hue.
3 star hotel: Asia Hotel Hue

Day 6: Hue - Danang - Hoian (B/L)
Breakfast at your hotel. You will be driven to Danang. Then you will visit the Cham Statues Museum. After that you will be taken to the Marble Mountains for a view of the grottos, caves and the high view. After lunch you will be taken to the beach for an afternoon on this beautiful and famous beach. Then you will continue onto Hoi An and will be checked into your hotel. You spend the night in Hoi An.
3 star hotel: Vaia Boutique Hotel Hoian

Day 7: Hoian - My Son (B/L)
Breakfast at your hotel . Today you will visit the My Son Holy Land. Afterwards you will return to Hoi An and check in at your hotel. Visit famous places in Hoi An, enjoy the ancient town at night, drinking coffee, beer or whatever your pleasure... Overnight at the hotel in Hoian.
3 star hotel: Vaia Boutique Hotel Hoian

Day 8: Hoian - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
Breakfast at your hotel . You will fly to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) where your guide will meet you and take you on a half-day tour, which will include the War Museum, the Independence Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral, a Buddhist Temple and more. Then you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
3 star hotel: Queen Ann hotel

Day 9:   Depart Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Breakfast at your hotel . You are transferred to the airport for your return flight to your home country with a lifetime of wonderful memories.
