The luxury cruise liner Costa Victoria of the Italia-based ship operator Costa Crociere S.p.A arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on January 7 with 2,400 passengers and crew to begin a four-day tour of Vietnam.

Passengers from Italy, Spain and the UK will visit famous sites in the city and experience countryside life in the Mekong Delta.

On January 9, the five-star ship will dock at Tien Sa port of Da Nang to visit the central city and the two world cultural heritage sites in Quang Nam province - Hoi An ancient town and My Son Sanctuary. The ship will depart on January 10.

Costa Victoria is scheduled to return to Vietnam on January 14, 18, 26 and 30.

An agreement between Star Cruises and Saigontourist Travel Service Company will see 90 ships carrying more than 130,000 passengers and crew arrive in Vietnam between November 2012 and April 2013.
