Viet Nam promotes tourism - culture in RoK and Russia

(TITC) - On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between Viet Nam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) (1992 - 2012) and the 62nd anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between Viet Nam and Russian Federation, Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in collaboration with Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT); Viet Nam Music and Dance Theatre; the promotion office for establishing Viet Nam - RoK cultural exchange centre; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of RoK;  Russian Federal agency for tourism; authorities of cities of Changwon and Seoul (RoK) and Vladivostok (Russia) held Viet Nam tourism - culture festivals 2012 in RoK (6-9 July) and in Russia (10-13 July).

The festivals aim to promote widely tourism potential and culture of Viet Nam to people in RoK and Russia and also facilitate for enterprises to meet, exchange and cooperate in culture, tourism...

In preparation for the festivals, Department of International Cooperation and VNAT made overall and detailed plans; discussed and unanimoused with RoK and Russia for organizing and promoting these events...

The festivals include many diverse activities such as: music and traditional costume performances; promotion program for new logo and slogan of Viet Nam tourism; Viet Nam tourism promotion workshop; photo exhibition "Viet Nam- timeless charm"; handicraft exhibition; gastronomy festival...

In the framework of festivals, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh has met and discussed with leaders of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of RoK and Russian Federal agency for tourism about cooperation and exchange activities on culture and tourism in the coming time.

Viet Nam culture - tourism festivals 2012 in RoK and Russian Federation are opportunities for Viet Nam to promote country's images to international friends; strengthen friendly relationship between Viet Nam and friend countries; and develop Viet Nam culture and tourism to a new height.
