Tet celebration at Vietnam Museum of Ethnology

The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology will organize many outstanding and animated programs to celebrate the Tet holidays from February 19 to 21, promising tourists an enjoyable experience with traditional images, sounds and foods of diverse peoples and regions.

The event will be enhanced with gong performances by 20 T’rieng people, musical instruments and ethnic folk songs. Tourists will also have a rare chance to enjoy an ethnic bamboo dance of the Thai minority people.

Visitors will be treated to water puppet shows, calligraphy with meaningful words such as Phuc, Loc, Tho (happiness, prosperity and longevity) and Dong Ho paintings. Children will like the clay tigers at the museum.

On February 19, the museum will open the event with a fireworks display and a water puppet show.
