The event is part of activities to mark the 60th anniversary of Vietnam – Laos diplomatic ties and the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Laos-Vietnam Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation.

The exhibition themed “Vietnam’s beauty” will feature various activities including the display of 60 photos introducing UNESCO-recognised heritage, cultural features, festivals and landscapes in Vietnam as well as the photos highlighting Vietnam’s development and tourism potential.

Beautiful designs of Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional long dresses) by designer Lan Huong will be showcased at the exhibition.

Notably, Hoi An space, with photos of the Vietnamese ancient city, lanterns and several cultural artefacts, will be a spotlight of the event, promoting the 2022 National Tourism Year – Quang Nam.

In addition, the outstanding achievements of the Vietnamese sports delegation at the recent SEA Games 31 will be featured on the occasion.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition is expected to feature several traditional music performances by artists from the Vietnam National Music Song and Dance Theatre.
