(TITC) In the first phase of reopening Phu Quoc to international tourists, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Kien Giang Province will select a number of qualified tourism and travel establishments to serve international tourists.

Accordingly, the establishments will include of large-scale and qualified tourist areas, attractions, resorts, tour operators, transportation, tourism service providers, etc. The selected ones must meet general requirements on COVID-19 prevention and control in conformity with medical regulations, vaccination rollout and training on COVID-19 prevention measures for staff who directly serve guests.
At the same time, they must ensure good quality of service, friendly attitude, labor safety, safety for tourists, fire and explosion prevention and control, food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation, compliance with regulations on finance and tax and other obligations.
Besides, they are required to comply with specific criteria for each type of enterprise.
