Saigon Railway Transport Company will offer discounts up to 40% on train tickets during summer for some trains running in southern areas between May 27 and August 15, according to Nha Trang Railway Transport Branch.
Accordingly, as for SE21/22 Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang and SE25/26 Ho Chi Minh City – Quang Ngai, passengers who travel more than 600km will be offered a discount from 20% to 40% on tickets purchased 20 days or more in advance. Refund charge of 20% to 40% on ticket prices will be applied for ticket change and return requests made at least 72 hours prior to scheduled departure time.
Passengers who travel more than 400km by SQN1/2 Ho Chi Minh City – Quy Nhon or more than 400km by SNT1/2 Ho Chi Minh City – Nha Trang will be given discounts from 20% to 30% on tickets purchased 20 days or more in advance, excluding the tickets for 4-berth cabins of SNT1/2. Refund charge for ticket change and return (made at least 72 hours before scheduled departure time) is from 20% to 30% on ticket prices.
During the sale, ticket prices for SNT2 soft seats are from VND252,000/ticket; SNQ2 soft seats are from VND242,000/ticket. As for 6-berth cabins, SNT2 bottom berth tickets are sold at VND428,000/ticket; SNQ2 bottom berth tickets are available at VND434,000/ticket.
Passengers purchasing group tickets of five or more will receive a discount of 2% to 14%. Passengers buying round-trip tickets will be offered 7% to 10% discount on the return ticket.
